Having photographed real guests staying at Nekajui, I know the property beyond its most obvious viewpoints and understand how to use its different environments throughout a session.

From the suspension bridge surrounded by tropical greenery to La Plaza, La Casona and the property's elevated pathways, there are spaces that create very different visual moods. The Ámbar treetop restaurant and bar, perched above the canopy, is particularly beautiful around sunset, when the warm light begins to fill the space and the Pacific horizon becomes part of the experience. Nekajui also offers places such as Niri Beach Club, Casona Bar, Puna and its ocean-view terraces, giving couples a variety of settings for portraits, intimate moments and photographs connected to their stay.

ANDAZ PENINSULA PAPAGAYO — ONE MICHELIN KEY

Andaz Peninsula Papagayo has a completely different visual identity, and that makes it especially interesting for couples photography. The resort is integrated into the tropical hillside overlooking Culebra Bay, with open-air pathways, organic architecture, natural materials, contemporary spaces and a strong connection between the buildings and surrounding landscape. Forbes Travel Guide describes the resort as built into the forested hills of the peninsula, following the contours of the hillside and connecting its spaces through open-air pathways. 

For couples, this creates an exceptional variety of photographs. We can work with the architectural lines of the resort, tropical pathways, pools, ocean views and the beaches around the property, including the calm waters of Culebra Bay and the resort's access to Playa Sombrero and Playa Nacascolo.
